What happened To 30,000 lbs Of Leftover Super Bowl Food?

30,000 pounds of uneaten food from Super Bowl donated to Florida food banks.

After the Lombardi trophy was awarded to the Kansas City Chiefs and the dust settled on Super Bowl LIV, that was the end of the story, right? Wrong! While fans certainly ate up what was a thriller of a game, they did not eat up all the food at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. ESPN reports more than 30,000 pounds has been donated to the Miami Rescue Mission, the Broward Outreach Center, Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Lotus House Shelter, and Camillus House. It included beef tenderloins, barbecue chicken, wings, ribs, and even plates. Officials say it will help feed around 20,000 people.

What food favorites were at your Super Bowl party? What did you do with the leftovers?
