Shuddup, man! I ain’t crying…sniff…it’s allergies, or something. Michael Stepien didn’t live to see his daughter get married. The father, and organ donor, was murdered 10 years ago. But his daughter still wanted her dream of having her father walk her down the aisle at her wedding, so she asked for the next best thing. The Stepien family had kept in contact with the man who received Michael’s heart. Arthur Thomas had kept in touch with the family over the years, they shared gifts, phone calls and letters. So when Jeni Stepien asked Arthur to walk her down the aisle, he said, “What a greater honor could a person have than walking the daughter of the man who’s given his heart to him.”
