It’s windy, wet and cold as I write this, but this is Utah, which means that the weather will likely change into sunny and 300 degrees anytime now. All day: Sandy Balloon Festival – Storm Mountain Park. Admission is free, and you might be able score a ride!
All day: Midvale Harvest Days – starts today with neighborhood block parties all over the city. Find the complete schedule here.

All day: Juab County Fair – Juab County Fairgrounds, Nephi.
10am-6pm: Heber Valley Fly-Fishing Festival – free admission, booths, free fishing, lots of prizes.
Noon-10pm: Cache County Fair and Rodeo – contests for kids, animal showings, arts and crafts. Runs through tomorrow, ticket info here.
Noon-10pm: Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival – Sugarhouse. Interactive dance, shows, art and food. Festival runs through Sunday. Admission tattoo is $10.00.
4:30pm: Salt Lake’s Avenues area closes down for Tour of Utah: Stage 5 Bike Race – 55 mile ride.
5pm-10pm: Craft Lake City DIY Festival – Gallivan Center. Kids 12 and under are free, adults $5.00.
6pm-8pm: Food Truck Rally – University of Utah Bountiful campus parking lot and Murray Park, Constitution Circle. Admission is free, food will cost.
