How to Care for Your Christmas Tree!

This holiday season, make sure that your Christmas tree is as spectacular as it can be! Here are some tips on how to care for your tree to keep it merry and bright! 😀

Fresh Cut: If your tree hasn’t been cut in more than 12 hours give it a fresh slice off the bottom. This allows the stem to open up to absorb more water.

Lots of Water: It is totally normal for a Christmas Tree to absorb up to a gallon of water in the first 24 hours. Make sure that your tree stand can hold a decent amount of water. Always make
sure that there is enough water to cover the base of the tree.

Avoid fire hazards: *Keep your tree away from heat sources such as a fireplace.
*Don’t overload your outlet. Give your tree it’s own separate outlet.
*Always unplug your tree when you’re not home.
*If your tree gets too dry, remove it from your home.

How to dispose of your tree: *Some waste removal companies offer free tree removal. Check to see if it is offered in your local area!
*Chop it up into mulch.
*DO NOT BURN YOUR TREE!!!
