20-year-old Shane Missler from Florida has come forward as winner of the huge $450 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot. Misser will take the lump sum payout of $281.2 million. He quit his job last week where he worked as a Verifications Specialist at Universal Background Screening, Inc, We don’t blame him.
Missler put on Facebook, simply: “Oh. My. God.”
It is the fourth largest jackpot in the history of the Mega Millions and the second largest jackpot won by a single ticket. Missler bought the winning ticket using the money he won from a scratch-off lottery ticket. He purchased five quick-pick Mega Millions tickets and one was the winner.
He says “I’m only 20, but I hope to use it to pursue a variety of passions, help my family and do some good for humanity. Although I’m young I’ve had a crash course this week in financial management and I feel so fortunate to have this incredible wealth and team behind me. I intend to take care of my family, have some fun along the way and cement a path for financial success so that I can leave a legacy far into the future.”
